FA Community Shield set to be played on 29th August

FA Community Shield, the annual curtain raiser for the new premier league season, will be played on 29th August at Wembley Stadium. The fixture will be between the PL Champions and FA champions. In this case, Liverpool and whoever will win the FA final. Chelsea and Arsenal battle it out for the FA trophy on 1st August.

If Chelsea win this clash, we will get to see their new signings play. You would not want to miss seeing Timo Wener and Hakim Ziyech play against the Red Meyerside club.

However, if Arsenal win, they will be seeking their 16th title in this competition. The Gunners might clinch their first trophy under the management of Mikel Arteta. Arsenal playing at Wembley for an FA Community shield triggers some history. Arsenal’s Wembley run is nothing to go by.
